We offer a wide range of training programmes, either delivered direct or through learning and development partners. They are all tailored to be a specific fit for the needs of the client and participants. Our approach is experientially focused; carefully balancing practical exercises to ensure that learning is retained and embedded in order to set the participants up for future success
Working with Dramatic Improvement has been a highly professional experience and has delivered, from a training and development perspective, a significant improvement in delegate performance.
The use of role-play in training programmes is not a new concept, but I have found that using Dramatic Improvement has brought a heightened reality that is flexible and focused on the needs of the delegate. Each role-play has significantly delivered a real learning experience that has resulted in a notable shift performance. The team’s ability to share constructive insights has encouraged development and therefore built confidence in each delegate along with a desire to push their own development further. The environment and atmosphere that the group create is one of support, honesty, freedom to experiment and excellence.
When your delegates on training events are requesting more role-plays and more feedback, you know its right.
Our work spans from creating specific development encounters to the development of entire learning programmes. We pay particular attention to ensuring the material we devise is realistic and believable and maps with any required specifics, such as competency frameworks.
We research a client’s environment and produce programmes which reflect their realities, in interventions ranging from one-to-one encounters to three day offsite events.
We use psychometric modelling as a learning tool and we provide roleplay encounters for delegates to practice the application of this learning.
We are certified to administer and debrief DISC reports and SDI (Strength Deployment Inventory) self-assessments. We have often worked with those certified in Myers-Briggs, Insights, Hogan Dark Side, EQ-I, Hay Leadership Styles, Team Profiling tools and 360 reviews.
Roleplay scenarios are highly valued by occupational psychologists and assessors seeking to gain a rounded understanding of an individual’s level of competency. Assessments can be used during a recruitment process, a reorganisation/restructure or as part of a development programme. Consistency is important in assessment and we create and deliver encounters that provide a benchmarked level of challenge.
We have experience in writing complete assessment exercises to provide challenges against competency frameworks. An example of this would be an in-tray which includes written tasks, roleplay scenarios, group challenges, presentations and feedback.
